AANLPA logoA background in psychology provides a solid foundation for my NLP work. I am a qualified NLP Practitioner and an Associate Member of the ABNLP (Australian Board of NLP). There are two main driving forces in my life - the need to be creative and to help others. A career in visual communications satisfied this first need (but not the second) and led to a return to Uni to study psychology. For the last four years or so I have been teaching people how to use creative thinking strategies using the NLP methodology to help change their life. I’m still being creative and I’m helping people too. Rock on.

How does my approach work?
I call my approach the ‘toolkit’ approach. It’s about showing you how to use the mental tools that many successful people use naturally - elite athletes especially so. Remember the saying about teaching someone to fish so they can feed themselves for the rest of their life. It’s exactly the same with our psychology. The way we think and what we believe ourselves to be capable of, determine the path our life takes.

My Philosophy
I believe people have vast potential and that positive change is always possible, once we possess the ‘know how’. My main goal is to help self-empower you by sharing with you some of that ‘know how’ - skills and strategies which will make a real difference in your life. Much of my work involves helping individuals build and protect their self-esteem, as rock-solid self-esteem is a great foundation for creating the life you want. We can achieve so much more in life when we feel good about ourselves.

Feel free to call me to discuss your goals, current challenges or concerns before you make an appointment.

Food for thought...

This saying rather nicely sums up the philosophy behind my psychological coaching work and underpins why I choose to use the NLP methodology. I am a firm believer in teaching someone how to do something for themselves - it builds self-reliance and empowers them in the long-term. ~ Naomi
